The vulnerability allows an attacker with physical access to read out-of-bounds data.
The vulnerability exists due to an integer overflow in the rndis_rx_fixup() function when processing a crafted RNDIS message received over USB. An attacker with physical access can supply a crafted RNDIS message with overflowing data offset and length values to read out-of-bounds data.
Remediation
