1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-80778)

CWE-ID: CWE-416 - Use After Free

CVSSv4: 2 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a use-after-free condition.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free in attach_to_pi_owner() when attaching a private futex key to an owner in a different address space. A remote attacker can trigger concurrent private futex owner cleanup across different address spaces to cause a use-after-free condition.

The issue applies to private futexes on systems configured with MMU support.
