The vulnerability allows a local user to cause incorrect widget reference-count handling.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of exceptional conditions in sof_widget_setup_unlocked() when handling failures during widget setup. A local user can trigger a widget setup failure to cause incorrect widget reference-count handling.
