The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in the CAN ISO-TP socket transmission state handling when concurrently sending data and releasing an ISO-TP socket. A local user can trigger conflicting transmission-state transitions to cause a denial of service.
