CVSSv4: 2 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a missing read memory barrier in the FUSE request allocation logic in fuse_block_alloc() when checking io-uring readiness. A local user can trigger request allocation before the io-uring queues are ready to cause a denial of service.
