Description
This security bulletin contains information about 1 vulnerability.
1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-80763)
CWE-ID: CWE-125 - Out-of-bounds read
CVSSv4: 2 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform an out-of-bounds read.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in the hci_cc_le_set_cig_params() handler when processing a truncated LE Set CIG Parameters response. A remote attacker can provide a malformed response with an advertised handle count that exceeds the remaining response data to perform an out-of-bounds read.
Remediation
Install update from vendor's website.
