The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper resource release in iommufd_take_all_iova_rwsem() when xa_store() fails while storing an IOAS in the temporary ioas_list xarray. A local user can trigger an xa_store() failure while taking IOAS IOVA read-write semaphores to cause a denial of service.
