CWE-ID: CWE-416 - Use After Free

CVSSv4: 5.6 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local privileged user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free in the nlmsvc_ops dispatch path in fs/lockd/svcsubs.c when lockd dispatches callbacks while the nfsd module is being unloaded. A local privileged user can trigger lockd dispatch during nfsd module shutdown to cause a denial of service.
