Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 vulnerabilities.
1) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-77628)
CWE-ID: CWE-352 - Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)
CVSSv4: 1.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:A/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform unauthorized state-changing actions.
The vulnerability exists due to missing cross-site request forgery protection in the /share, /feedback, and /esri-token-auth endpoints when processing cross-origin browser requests. A remote attacker can cause the victim's browser to send crafted cross-origin requests to perform unauthorized state-changing actions.
Exploitation requires the victim to visit an attacker-controlled web page and a deployment that authenticates by network position or ambient authority. Responses cannot be read cross-origin.
2) Open redirect (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-77627)
CWE-ID: CWE-601 - URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect')
CVSSv4: 2.1 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:A/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to redirect victims to an attacker-controlled site.
The vulnerability exists due to improper validation of redirect targets in the redirectToHttps HTTP-to-HTTPS redirect middleware when processing requests with attacker-controlled Host headers. A remote attacker can send a request with a crafted Host header to poison a shared cache with a malicious redirect.
Exploitation requires a shared cache or CDN that caches 301 responses by path without including Host in its cache key.
3) Use of cache containing sensitive information (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-77626)
CWE-ID: CWE-524 - Use of Cache Containing Sensitive Information
CVSSv4: 8.2 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to disclose auth-gated upstream content.
The vulnerability exists due to improper cache-control configuration in the /proxy endpoint when a shared cache stores responses to proxied requests without varying by authorization. A remote attacker can request a proxied URL whose authenticated response has been cached to disclose auth-gated upstream content.
A shared cache or CDN in front of the server is required.
4) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-77636)
CWE-ID: CWE-79 - Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')
CVSSv4: 5.1 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary script in a victim's browser.
The vulnerability exists due to improper content-type handling in the gist-backed share resolver when a browser directly navigates to a raw share endpoint. A remote attacker can host crafted markup in a public gist and distribute its share URL to execute arbitrary script in a victim's browser.
User interaction is required to open the crafted URL, and only deployments configured with a gist-backed share URL prefix are affected.
