1) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-90010)

CWE-ID: CWE-787 - Out-of-bounds write

CVSSv4: 8.5 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

The vulnerability exists due to improper bounds checking in the SCSI BSG io_uring completion sense-data copy when copying SCSI sense data to a user response buffer. A local user can submit an io_uring command with a response buffer smaller than the returned sense data to overrun the buffer.
