The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper resource lifetime management in the KVM SEV-SNP VMSA handling when invalidating a backing guest_memfd page. A local user can invalidate the backing gmem page for a VMSA to cause a denial of service.
