The vulnerability allows a local user to corrupt VRAM allocations and cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper rounding of the flat CCS storage offset in get_flat_ccs_offset() in the drm/xe VRAM management code when allocating VRAM. A local user can trigger allocation of VRAM that includes compression hardware storage to corrupt VRAM allocations and cause a denial of service.
