The vulnerability allows a local user to cause incorrect duplicate-device detection.

The vulnerability exists due to an incorrect comparison in i3c_master_search_i3c_dev_duplicate() when searching I3C devices with matching PIDs. A local user can cause the controller device to be identified as a duplicate target device.
