The vulnerability allows a local user to trigger an incorrect offset warning.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect offset validation in the BPF type format field parser when parsing BTF fields containing BPF_RES_SPIN_LOCK. A local user can provide a BTF record containing a BPF_RES_SPIN_LOCK field to trigger an incorrect offset warning.
