The vulnerability allows a local user to cause resource leaks or use-after-free conditions.
The vulnerability exists due to improper resource cleanup in the DisplayPort AUX channel lifecycle when handling cleanup after dw_dp_bind(). A local user can trigger the affected cleanup path without unregistering the AUX adapter to cause resource leaks or use-after-free conditions.
