The vulnerability allows a local user to read out-of-bounds memory.
The vulnerability exists due to improper bounds checking in ath12k_wmi_process_csa_switch_count_event() when processing a firmware-supplied CSA switch count status event. A local user can provide a malformed firmware event to read out-of-bounds memory.
