The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper synchronization in the mt76 mt7915 and mt7996 device unregistration routines when pending reset_work or rc_work executes during device unregistration. A local user can trigger device unregistration while reset_work or rc_work is pending to cause a denial of service.
