The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to missing reference counting in the Intel irdma driver's user ring memory-region handling when deregistering a memory region backing QP, CQ, or SRQ rings. A local user can deregister a memory region associated with a user ring to cause a denial of service.
