1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-90205)

CWE-ID: CWE-125 - Out-of-bounds read

CVSSv4: 2 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to read memory out of bounds.

The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in ocfs2_wipe_inode when processing a corrupted OCFS2 dinode marked with OCFS2_ORPHANED_FL. A local user can cause OCFS2 to process a dinode whose i_orphaned_slot is outside the mounted filesystem slot range to read memory out of bounds.
