The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in the L2CAP get/setsockopt handlers in net/bluetooth/l2cap_sock.c when accessing socket options during HCI connection teardown. A local user can invoke L2CAP get/setsockopt operations during connection teardown to cause a denial of service.
