The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper teardown ordering in smbdirect_accept_connect_request() when handling an RDMA connection acceptance failure. A remote attacker can trigger an RDMA connection acceptance failure to cause a denial of service.
