CWE-ID: CWE-667 - Improper Locking
CVSSv4: 1.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a local privileged user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper locking in the AST2700 interrupt-controller irq-domain activation callbacks when activating an irq domain while interrupts are disabled and a raw spinlock is held. A local privileged user can trigger the affected irq-domain activation path to cause a denial of service.
The affected compatibility checks can perform GFP_KERNEL memory allocations in an atomic context.
