The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a Type-C switch resource leak.
The vulnerability exists due to improper resource cleanup in the FSL i.MX8MQ USB PHY driver's Type-C switch handling when the driver probe fails after TCA acquisition. A local user can trigger a driver probe failure after TCA acquisition to cause a Type-C switch resource leak.
