The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of the BPF_MOV64_PERCPU_REG instruction in the BPF interpreter when executing a BPF program containing a BPF_ADDR_PERCPU instruction through interpreter fallback. A local user can trigger execution of the affected instruction to cause a kernel page fault and cause a denial of service.
