CWE-ID: CWE-670 - Always-Incorrect Control Flow Implementation

CVSSv4: 4.6 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local privileged user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper control flow handling in the BPF verifier when a CAP_BPF task performs a tail call directly from a synchronous callback frame. A local privileged user can load a BPF program containing such a tail call to cause a denial of service.
