The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service or disclose uninitialized memory.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in the tracing ring buffer read-page handling when concurrently resizing trace ring-buffer subbuffers while reading trace_pipe_raw. A local user can concurrently resize trace ring-buffer subbuffers and read trace_pipe_raw to cause a denial of service or disclose uninitialized memory.
