The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition involving an ABA problem in __slab_try_return_freelist() in mm/slub.c when concurrently returning slab freelists. A local user can trigger concurrent slab allocation and freeing operations to cause a denial of service.
