The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the Ethos-U command stream validation routine when processing a command stream that does not end with a stop operation. A local user can submit a crafted command stream without a terminating stop operation to cause a denial of service.

The hardware may not generate the interrupt required to prevent a timeout.
