The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free in Tx/Rx DIM work embedded in idpf_q_vector objects when NAPI polling queues DIM work after q_vectors are freed. A local user can repeatedly cycle the network interface under load to cause a denial of service.

Dynamic interrupt moderation is enabled by default, and no configuration is required.
