The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect callback return-value handling in s390 asynchronous crypto engine callbacks when completing asynchronous cryptographic requests. A local user can cause a request to be completed twice to compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
