The vulnerability allows a local user to trigger an integer truncation.
The vulnerability exists due to improper range validation in simpledrm device creation when calculating a framebuffer stride. A local user can cause a computed stride exceeding INT_MAX to be assigned to stride to trigger an integer truncation.
