The vulnerability allows a local user to cause DMA mapping leaks.

The vulnerability exists due to failure to release DMA mappings in stmmac_tso_xmit() in the stmmac Ethernet driver when a DMA mapping of an skb fragment fails during transmission. A local user can transmit a fragmented skb to cause DMA mapping leaks.
