Description

This security bulletin contains information about 7 vulnerabilities.

1) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-69153)

CWE-ID: CWE-22 - Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal')

CVSSv4: 6.9 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to PostCSS takes a CSS file and provides an API to analyze and modify its rules by transforming the rules into an Abstract Syntax Tree. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and read arbitrary files on the system.

2) Improper Output Neutralization for Logs (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-15603)

CWE-ID: CWE-117 - Improper Output Neutralization for Logs

CVSSv4: 6.9 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to forge log entries.

The vulnerability exists due to improper output neutralization for logs in morgan access log token handling when logging attacker-controlled request data. A remote attacker can send crafted request values containing Unicode line separators to forge log entries.

The issue affects built-in formats including combined, common, default, and short, as well as custom formats. Downstream ECMAScript-aware or Unicode-aware log processing can split a single physical log record into multiple logical records.

3) Improper Output Neutralization for Logs (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-5078)

CWE-ID: CWE-117 - Improper Output Neutralization for Logs

CVSSv4: 6.9 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to forge log entries.

The vulnerability exists due to improper output neutralization for logs in the :remote-user token when processing a crafted Authorization header. A remote attacker can send a crafted Authorization: Basic header containing CR/LF characters to forge log entries.

The built-in combined, common, default, and short formats are affected, as well as custom formats that include :remote-user.

4) Incorrect Control Flow Scoping (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-45819)

CWE-ID: CWE-705 - Incorrect Control Flow Scoping

CVSSv4: 8.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to baseline-browser-mapping calls process.exit() instead of throwing on invalid or conflicting input parameters, and can trigger immediate process termination. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

5) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-75838)

CWE-ID: CWE-79 - Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')

CVSSv4: 2.1 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:P/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the application's origin.

The vulnerability exists due to cross-site scripting in _sanitizeElements() when sanitizing attacker-supplied HTML with IN_PLACE enabled and an element-removal hook detaches the current node. A remote user can supply crafted HTML containing a descendant resource element with an event handler to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the application's origin.

User interaction is required to render the sanitized content, and exploitation requires the non-default IN_PLACE configuration together with a hook that removes a containing element.

6) Unsafe reflection (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-19032)

CWE-ID: CWE-470 - Use of Externally-Controlled Input to Select Classes or Code ('Unsafe Reflection')

CVSSv4: 6.9 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to use of externally controlled input to select classes or code in JDKFromStringDeserializer.NioPathHelper.deserialize when deserializing untrusted JSON into a java.nio.file.Path field. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted URI scheme to drive FileSystemProvider resolution and cause a denial of service.

Exploitation occurs during readValue, and meaningful side effects beyond the reported availability impact depend on the presence of a side-effecting third-party FileSystemProvider on the classpath.

7) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-66010)

CWE-ID: CWE-284 - Improper Access Control

CVSSv4: 5.1 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary script code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access control in the CUSTOM_ELEMENT_HANDLING sanitization logic when processing allowed custom elements. A remote attacker can supply specially crafted HTML content to execute arbitrary script code.

The bypass affects the afterSanitizeElements hook and the payload becomes executable only after a custom element writes sanitized data into innerHTML.
