1) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-18145)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the handling of xpath and parameter values provided to the spamBlocker (spamd) daemon's status and action handlers. A remote administrator can trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation within the handling of session files in the samld service. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
