1) Incorrect calculation (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-98273)

CWE-ID: CWE-682 - Incorrect Calculation

CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to an incorrect exception return address calculation in int3_emulate_call() in the x86 kprobes implementation when emulating a six-byte CS-prefixed CALL instruction using an assumed five-byte instruction length. A local user can use eBPF to probe a CS-prefixed CALL instruction within a kernel function to cause a denial of service.
