CWE-ID: CWE-772 - Missing Release of Resource after Effective Lifetime
CVSSv4: 0 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a runtime power-management reference leak.
The vulnerability exists due to failure to release a runtime power-management reference in wlcore_regdomain_config() when handling a failed regulatory-domain command. A local user can trigger a regulatory-domain command failure to cause a runtime power-management reference leak.
The recovery worker acquires a separate runtime power-management reference and cannot release the reference held by this function.
Remediation
Install update from vendor's website.
