1) Incorrect authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-88894)

CWE-ID: CWE-863 - Incorrect Authorization

CVSSv4: 5.3 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote user to bypass company isolation and assign assets to users in another company.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect authorization in AppServicesPredefinedKitCheckoutService when processing predefined-kit checkout requests without checking the target user's company against the item's company. A remote user can submit a checkout request to /kits/{kit}/checkout with user_id identifying a user belonging only to another company to bypass company isolation and assign assets to users in another company.

Exploitation requires Full Multiple Company Support to be enabled, a non-superuser with assets.checkout permission who belongs to both the source and destination companies, and a predefined kit whose model has an available asset in the source company.
