1) Use of Uninitialized Variable (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-98345)

CWE-ID: CWE-457 - Use of Uninitialized Variable

CVSSv4: 4.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause incorrect classification of transmitted IP frames.

The vulnerability exists due to use of uninitialized memory caused by missing IP header length checks in cfg80211_classify8021d() when processing outgoing frames with undersized IP headers. A local user can transmit a frame marked as IPv4 or IPv6 with an incomplete IP header to cause incorrect classification of transmitted IP frames.
