The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition and improper error-pointer validation in tcf_idr_delete_index() in net/sched/act_api.c when deleting traffic control actions. A local user can trigger concurrent action deletion and reservation of the same IDR slot to cause a denial of service.
