1) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-100207)

CWE-ID: CWE-78 - Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection')

CVSSv4: 8.4 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code on a connecting workstation.

The vulnerability exists due to improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command in Azure CycleCloud when connecting to a Windows node using the Azure CycleCloud CLI from a macOS or Linux workstation. A local user can configure specially crafted Windows node credentials to execute arbitrary code on a connecting workstation.

Exploitation requires permission to create or manage a cluster and configure the node's credentials. A different user must initiate the CLI connection.
