1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-98565)

CWE-ID: CWE-476 - NULL Pointer Dereference

CVSSv4: 6.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local privileged user to cause a denial of service by triggering a kernel NULL pointer dereference.

The vulnerability exists due to a null pointer dereference in mt7530_remove() in drivers/net/dsa/mt7530-mdio.c when removing or unbinding an MT7621 or MT7531 switch device. A local privileged user can unload the driver module or trigger a sysfs unbind to cause regulator_disable() to operate on uninitialized core or I/O supply pointers and crash the kernel.
