1) Division by zero (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-98647)

CWE-ID: CWE-369 - Divide By Zero

CVSSv4: 6.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local privileged user to cause a denial of service by triggering a kernel divide-by-zero exception.

The vulnerability exists due to an unchecked zero divisor in btf_struct_walk() when validating an access beyond a structure ending in a flexible array whose element type has zero size. A local privileged user can load a specially crafted BPF program that accesses the structure through a PTR_TO_BTF_ID pointer not marked MEM_ALLOC to trigger a modulo-by-zero operation during verification and cause a denial of service.
