1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-98455)

CWE-ID: CWE-476 - NULL Pointer Dereference

CVSSv4: 7.1 [CVSS:4.0/AV:A/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker on the local network to cause a denial of service by triggering a Linux kernel crash.

The vulnerability exists due to a null pointer dereference in the Bluetooth RFCOMM_CONNINFO getsockopt handler when processing an accepted socket whose deferred setup flag remains set after its session has been removed. A remote attacker on the local network can send a Bluetooth RFCOMM DISC frame for a channel accepted with BT_DEFER_SETUP enabled to cause a kernel crash if a local application subsequently calls getsockopt(SOL_RFCOMM, RFCOMM_CONNINFO) on that socket.
