1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-98664)

CWE-ID: CWE-416 - Use After Free

CVSSv4: 5.6 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local privileged user to potentially cause a denial of service through access to freed kernel memory.

The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in the Linux kernel adis16400 driver's serial_number debugfs read handler when a read overlaps device unbinding. A local privileged user can read the debugfs file concurrently with device unbinding to potentially trigger a kernel crash, because debugfs removal does not wait for the read to finish before the underlying iio_dev is freed.
