1) Use of uninitialized resource (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-98721)

CWE-ID: CWE-908 - Use of Uninitialized Resource

CVSSv4: 5.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to potentially cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to use of uninitialized synchronization resources in the Linux kernel Cadence NAND interrupt handler when a pending interrupt is handled after IRQ registration but before initialization of the IRQ lock and completion object. A local user can potentially exploit this initialization window to disrupt kernel operation and cause a denial of service.
