1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-98877)

CWE-ID: CWE-476 - NULL Pointer Dereference

CVSSv4: 5.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service by triggering a kernel panic.

The vulnerability exists due to a null pointer dereference in the Linux kernel GICv4 interrupt controller support when kvm-arm.vgic_v4_enable=1 is set on a GICv4 system without an MSI controller device tree node or an available ITS. A local user can trigger an access to the null gic_domain pointer to cause a kernel panic and denial of service.
