Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 vulnerabilities.

1) Acceptance of Extraneous Untrusted Data With Trusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-22741)

CWE-ID: CWE-349 - Acceptance of Extraneous Untrusted Data With Trusted Data

CVSSv4: 2.1 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:A/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper cache control in static resource resolution when handling malicious requests for encoded resources. A remote attacker can send malicious requests to cause a denial of service.

Exploitation requires resource chain support with caching enabled, encoded resource resolution enabled, and an empty resource cache.

2) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-9828)

CWE-ID: CWE-502 - Deserialization of Untrusted Data

CVSSv4: 6.3 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data in the QOS.CH Sarl logback logback-core (HardenedObjectInputStream (logback-core) modules). A remote attacker able to influence serialized data sent to SimpleSocketServer or SimpleSSLSocketServer can instantiate objects from classes in the java.lang and java.util packages that are not explicitly blocked.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

3) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-10532)

CWE-ID: CWE-502 - Deserialization of Untrusted Data

CVSSv4: 6.3 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data. A remote attacker can influence serialized data sent to SimpleSocketServer or SimpleSSLSocketServer to instantiate Proxy objects and bypass the intended security restrictions.
