1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-99282)

CWE-ID: CWE-416 - Use After Free

CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service through access to freed kernel memory.

The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in the Linux kernel's teql_master_xmit() function when a slave consumes and frees a packet but returns NET_XMIT_DROP rather than NETDEV_TX_OK. A local user can send a packet through a configured TEQL device with a VLAN slave whose lower queueing discipline drops the packet to trigger further access to the freed packet buffer, potentially causing a kernel crash.
