Vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in tcpedit_dlt_cleanup within tcprewrite. A local attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger double free error and cause a denial of service condition on the target system.
