Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences in Windows File Explorer. A remote attacker can use a specially crafted filename to delete or disclose information in the context of the current user.
